Finally, a new post

Wow, its been awhile since I posted on here.  I’ve been super busy trying to get caught up from a really busy 2009.  We were especially busy in the fall with a wedding almost every weekend, and that has made for a busy winter as I work to get everybody their wedding video before the wedding season starts again(March 3rd is my first wedding this year so far). But I’m rolling along and getting it done.  As many of you know, we dealt with a personal trajedy in the sudden death of my wife’s mother in the fall, and that put me behind, and I want to thank everyone for being so understanding during that time.

I’m looking forward to a great 2010 and finally getting behind the camera again in March!

Here’s another highlight video from a fall wedding.  It was a Kenyan wedding, so it was really cool to see something from another culture.

Thomas and Anna’s Wedding Day Highlights

They were such an awesome couple, and I don’t think you could have gotten them to stop smiling, no matter how hard you tried.   They were clearly in love and ready to be married, and I think it shows through in the video.  See for yourselves.

Anna – Thomas Wedding Yesterday

At most weddings the bride and groom are told to go enjoy themselves at their reception and just have a good time.  Anna and Thomas really took this to heart and they not only had fun the whole day, but a great time at their reception.  The smiles on these two’s faces was contagious!  I hope to have a highlight up by the end of the week, so stay tuned.  To see some pics from their wedding head over to http://www.myfotographa.com/Blog/?p=292.  Hillarye from Fotographa did a great job the whole day and was a blast to work with.

Hey everyone, finally got the new website up, you can check it out at www.haleyvideo.com.  If you see any problems with it, let me know.  I’ve run into a couple like having to load a page twice because the first time it freezes up.  But a couple of glitches aside, it is such a better looking site than before. Katie And Justin highlight

Last Saturday I had the pleasure of videoing Katie and Justin’s marriage. This wedding was held at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA. It was an absolutely beautiful wedding, and Katie and Justin’s photographer went outside the box a little and took them outside to a couple of places for pictures, which I love, and I ended up with some really nice shots because of it. Amanda and Jake Wedding Day Trailer

This past Saturday we were at the wedding of Amanda and Jake.  What an awesome time it was.  Amanda and Jake are a great couple who had been together for ages before getting married.  Their story was a great one and their wedding was even better.  We had a great time at the reception.

The reception was at  The Little Hawaiian, and it was beautiful.  The Atlanta Party Band did the music, and they we’re great.   The photography was done by the husband and wife team from Kevin W. Nye Photography.   I had a great time working alongside these two, as they were extremely polite and helpful the whole day.

Noah’s Newborn Pictures
