This is Matt and Abbie’s wedding highlight video.  They were such a fun and awesome couple to hang out with for the day.  Both of them were full of smiles, and were so happy to be getting married, and it shows in the video.

I had a great time working with Haley Sheffield.  She is a really great photographer, and Matt and Abbie’s pictures looked great. She was also super nice the whole day, and that makes my day so much better.

Atlanta Wedding Video | Amy & Mike at Flat Creek Country Club

Amy doesn’t know this, but around the house she was known as my BFF bride. Amy and Mike booked me about 14 months in advance, and ever since, she would contact me on Facebook from time to time, just to chat and see how my day was going. I really got to know her and understand her excitement for her wedding video, which was awesome. She had such a beautiful wedding at Flat Creek Country Club, and I enjoyed every bit of the day.

Presentation tonight at the Georgia Professional Videographer’s Association

I’m giving a speech tonight at the GPVA, so hopefully everything goes well and it’s a good night. I’m going to be speaking on Same Day Edits and using DSLR’s to make them. I’m not one to give a lot of speeches at anything like this, but I just wanted to give some insight into how I do them and hopefully get more videographer’s around Atlanta offering this service, as I think that can only be good for the industry as a whole.

Same Day Edits are new, relatively speaking, in the world of videography, and haven’t caught on with videographers around here the same way they have in the northeast and western United States. They add a bit of excitement to a reception as guests get to see how the day unfolded, and all the behind the scenes stuff that guests aren’t used to seeing at a reception.

I just wanted to wish a Happy Late New Year to everyone. 2011 is shaping up to be a great year for Haley Video Services, and a year of change. I’m thinking about changing the name of the company. I want something that is less stale sounding. We are also getting a lot of booking requests, as usually happens in January. Still plenty of dates open this year, though, so give me an email if you’d like to learn more about what we offer. Check the main site’s contact page for the email address(spammer’s have a field day if I post it on here)

I’m so ready for the wedding season to start again. Weddings are hard and sometimes stressful to video, and a couple of months off is always nice and allows me to catch up on editing, but I start getting that itch again around January to get to another wedding, because they can also be a rush. As of now, the first wedding of the season is in March, so just around the corner!

You could see it in their faces during their vows that they were so ready to get married. It was so much fun to be a part of their wedding day and to be able to document this day.

South Atlanta Same Day Edit at Glendalough Manor

Brand new to our packages is the option to have your highlight video shown at your reception. What an awesome way to show your guests all the behind the scenes fun that went on during your wedding day. Here is the Same Day Edit from Brian and Allison’s wedding. They were such a fun couple, and it was awesome to be able to show this video to their guests that evening.

Erin has made guest appearances in 3 or 4 of our wedding videos over the past couple of years, so it’s only fitting that she gets to be the star this time, along with her new husband Chris.

Erin and Chris are most definitely in love, and you can tell that they are overcome with happiness and finally being married. I love when emotion show through like it does with these two.I got to work with one of my favorite photographers, Hilarye at myfotographa.com did the picture taking, and her work is always stunning. Hilarye sees opportunities for photos that most photographers don’t see!The reception was held at Sunset Hills Country Club, which is always a beautiful place to have a reception.

The Dirk Howell Band provided the nights entertainment and kept the party going.

Atlanta Wedding Video at The Banquet Hall of Alvaton

These are the highlights from Morris and Ellen’s wedding day. Their wedding was held at a beautiful place, The Banquet Hall of Alvaton.  The weather was perfect this day, and the sunset was perfect for getting some amazing looking shots.

Corrie Kirk was the coordinator for the wedding and she always made sure we knew what was going on when. Its always great when there is a coordinator at a wedding, and Corrie is one of the best we’ve worked with.

Kelly DeMarino was the photographer for the day, along with Jessica Mull, and they were both fantastic to work alongside.

Morris and Ellen also brought a great band to play at the reception. They are called Party Nation. It’s always fun to video a reception when a band can keep it going like these guys.

Katie and Russ’s Wedding Highlights on Vimeo

Another super fun night, this is the highlights for Katie and Russ. These two obviously love to have fun, as you can tell from the highlight video. Specifically, one of the greatest cake in the face scenes you’ll see, as Katie made sure that none of Russ’s face missed out on the fun. Also, some of the wedding party did a surprise “Thriller” dance.
